6|Joe Neally|josephn801@msn.com|1964||http://|Schaumburg, IL|I am a simple man with a family and a job. I am not wealthy in money nor poor in life and love for my family and country. I am a MAN.........one that has and will always take responsibility for his actions and protect the interests of my nation and freedom when threatened by those of the dark side. For my misgivings, I pray for forgiveness and love of God.   Know and know well all of you that have perpetrated a crime against freedom and humanity, I am not alone in my stand. You have attacked America, a country that has defended the weak, poor, and oppressed. We have defeated with the help of our allies, all that have come before you and all that shall come after you. This message is clear, the Free World and Peace Loving people shall speak. When you initiated a cowardice attack against America, you attacked all the Free World.   Our history shows that this nation will fight, and then rebuild. We will contribute to freedom and peace with cost not the principal concern. You have errored in your judgment and repeated the mistakes of those from the dark side that have come before you. Clearly, you lack intelligence, for you do not learn from mistakes of the past. In the end, you will have proven to be your own worst enemy.   Now it is time to collect evidence; to ascertain who you are, where you reside, why you did these despicable acts of terror, and who has harbored you and assisted you in your preparations. We will find all of you, and come after you. No price is too large for our resolve. Cowards do not show their face, at least those before you stood tall and showed themselves. You can not hide !   You see all of you that profess 'your way or no way, the dark side' are extreme, demented, radical, misguided, manipulated, skewed, deranged, and have interpreted the WORD only to satisfy your motives and further your selfish cause. We are not blind, the freedom loving people of this world are sighted and see your false interpretation. We also see the WORD and take it as Gospel with no manipulation to satisfy our selfish desires.   Your final punishment shall be dealt to you by the author of the WORD, our Creator. We will only give you transportation to your final judgment.    Remember, for all our faults, differences and problems, this nation of America has defeated the enemies of freedom and rebuilt them into freedom loving nations. We believe the victor has a responsibility not to conquer and take over but to rebuild those that have attacked us and whom we have subsequently defeated. As we are taught and believe in the Light of the Word, we also reject and will take to arms against the dark side of the world.   No finger may be pointed where we have attempted to bring down a religion, to silence a spoken or written word or to prohibit peaceful assembly. For we are a diverse nation, all religions of the world are represented here freely, all people are encouraged to speak, all people participate in our collective national efforts with Freedom and Opportunity our foundation. You see, we are a nation founded on Freedoms. We have embraced the cold, the tired, the hungry and the oppressed. For well over two hundred years now, this nation has welcomed those that have come. We have become a melting pot of culture and beliefs. First the Pilgrims, Irish, Germans, people of color and so many other people of nations around the world seeking freedom and opportunity. We have learned through the ages to work together to build a nation that we all are proud of, to the point of even dying for her. Our men and woman have gone forth to battle and so many have died, but our resolve is strong, our differences do not diminish that we are One Nation, Under God. Whether God be called Allah, Mohammed, Buddha, Tao, or simply God; our nation worships as we choose and assembles when we feel the necessity; speaks and writes whatever we feel needs to be said. Oh what mistakes you have made.........for wars never steal freedom from the hearts of people. To win the battle does not win the war. You have won the first battle, we shall win the fight for freedom and peace that you shall never know.   Today, we witness the first funerals of those you have taken from us. We will in coming days and perhaps for months witness thousands of funerals. One funeral has been for The Reverand Mychael Judge, Catholic Priest from New York City and Fire Department Chaplin for the past ten years. He went into the scene of destruction and terror as a fire fighter first and a chaplin to provide what help and assistance he could. He found people and gave them 'last rights', comfort and subsequently gave his own life. Father Judge is the ultimate example of a loving and compassionate human being, a child of God and I feel represents the humanity and love of freedom throughout the world. Oh it is a shame, you shall never experience the grace and love he lived.   Time is moving more quickly now. The forces of peace, freedom and love are moving towards you. All forces of the Dark Side, you shall feel the pain of rejecting the Word of God. I beseech you, all you to kneel and pray for forgiveness of your transgressions and then hope it is granted. For our God is a loving and forgiving God.    May God have Mercy on your Souls.|63.22.131.91|30 September 2001|11:57:32

7|Cpphsaa-Webmaster|cpphsaa-webmaster@rhsaas.org|To All Alumni||http://|Corning, NY|'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, HE LIVED ALL ALONE,IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE MADE OF PLASTER AND STONE. I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE, AND TO SEE JUST WHO IN THIS HOME DID LIVE. I LOOKED ALL ABOUT, A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE, NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS, NOT EVEN A TREE. NO STOCKING BY MANTLE, JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND, ON THE WALL HUNG PICTURES OF FAR DISTANT LANDS..........WITH MEDALS AND BADGES, AWARDS OF ALL KINDS, A SOBER THOUGHT CAME THROUGH MY MIND. FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT, IT WAS DARK AND DREARY, I FOUND THE HOME OF A SOLDIER,ONCE I COULD SEE CLEARLY. THE SOLDIER LAY SLEEPING, SILENT, ALONE, CURLED UP ON THE FLOOR IN THIS ONE BEDROOM HOME....... THE FACE WAS SO GENTLE, THE ROOM IN SUCH DISISORDER, NOT HOW I PICTURED A UNITED STATES SOLDIER..... WAS THIS THE HERO OF WHOM I'D JUST READ? CURLED UP ON A PONCHO, THE FLOOR FOR A BED? I REALIZED THE FAMILIES THAT I SAW THIS NIGHT, OWED THEIR LIVES TO THESE SOLDIERS WHO WERE WILLING TO FIGHT...... SOON ROUND THE WORLD, THE CHILDREN WOULD PLAY, AND GROWNUPS WOULD CELEBRATE A BRIGHT CHRISTMAS DAY........ THEY ALL ENJOYED FREEDOM EACH MONTH OF THE YEAR, BECAUSE OF THE SOLDIERS, LIKE THE ONE LYING HERE....... I COULDN'T HELP WONDER HOW MANY LAY ALONE,ON A COLD CHRISTMAS EVE IN A LAND FAR FROM HOME....... THE VERY THOUGHT BROUGHT A TEAR TO MY EYE,I DROPPED TO MY KNEES AND STARTED TO CRY...... THE SOLDIER AWAKENED AND I HEARD A ROUGH VOICE, 'SANTA DON'T CRY, THIS LIFE IS MY CHOICE; I FIGHT FOR FREEDOM, I DON'T ASK FOR MORE, MY LIFE IS MY GOD, MY COUNTRY, MY CORPS.'........ THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER AND DRIFTED TO SLEEP, I COULDN'T CONTROL IT, I CONTINUED TO WEEP......... I KEPT WATCH FOR HOURS, SO SILENT AND STILL AND WE BOTH SHIVERED FROM THE COLD NIGHT'S CHILL. I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE ON THAT COLD, DARK, NIGHT, THIS GUARDIAN OF HONOR SO WILLING TO FIGHT........ THEN THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER, WITH A VOICE SOFT AND PURE, WHISPERED, 'CARRY ON SANTA, IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY, ALL IS SECURE.'........ ONE LOOK AT MY WATCH, AND I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT. 'MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND, AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT.' ....... 'This poem was written by a Marine stationed in Okinawa Japan. The following is his request. I think it is reasonable..... PLEASE. Would you do me the kind favor of sending this to as many people as you can? Christmas will be coming soon and some credit is due to our U.S. service men and women for our being able to celebrate these festivities....... Let's try in this small way to pay a tiny bit of what we owe. Make people stop and think of our heroes, living and dead, who sacrificed themselves for us. Please, do your small part to plant this small seed.'|24.95.129.128|29 December 2001|13:22:31

1|Marilyn {Ameigh} Moore|m-ameigh@stny.rr.com|Whs 1965||http://|Corning, NY, USA|When I first heard of the event.........My Mother and I stopped at McDonalds and purchased a Egg McMuffin and coffee. We had the radio on as we went through the drive in window. She said, as we headed to the parking spot, that she thought she heard on the radio that a plane had hit a building in New York City. We listened, but there was no further mention at that moment so we thought it was miss-heard. We pulled into the parking spot and unwrapped our breakfast and coffee. Again it came on the radio. We did not believe it. Discussing it, we still did not believe it. We thought we were misunderstanding the broadcast. So we decided to go home and see if our husbands had heard anything. It was confirmed visually on TV and then we actually believed it.........We have spent the last three days having it sink into our brains. We are still in shock.........Once we realized it all, we worried about Debby [ehs69] who works very near Washington, DC. We tried to call. Lines were overfull and our calls did not get processed.....Finally she called us and was OK at home. Her office had been sent home immediately......We thought a friend was OK as she lived near Townsend, Maryland. That is far north of it all. Come to find out she [over 65yrs] and friends [over 65yrs] had taken a vacation to Washington, DC, on Sept 11. They are OK, but had a story to tell. They arrived by tour bus at the National Archives and Library buildings just as it all occurred.|24.95.129.128|14 September 2001|16:50:20

3|Helyn Collison|unlisted@unlisted.com|A friend of Marilyn Moore Whs65||http://|Townsen, Maryland, USA|My personal witness to the Washington terror - September 11, 2001............ Many years have passed since the last genealogical bus trip to Washington - because Dianne, the lady who organizes the trips, has been ill for a long time. Several months ago, when I received an e-mail from her outlining the details of a series of trips, I immediately made a reservation for the very first one on September 11, 2001....... I was ready! My hair was washed, my nails were polished, my genealogical questions were neatly prepared and with a happy heart, I left at 7:00 a.m. to catch the bus at the local Park N Ride - just five minutes from home. We proceeded to two other locations to pick up other equally joyful people &. and we were off to Washington. It was wonderful to see old friends, to meet new researchers, as well as to applaud Dianne for her remarkable improvement........ We dropped off about six people at the Library of Congress, I and about fifteen others went to the National Archives and another group went to the DAR Library. Everyone knew exactly when to be ready, at his/her location, to board the bus for home and all was well coordinated. I had lots of water, a nice lunch and was going to have a splendid day. The weather was picture perfect - with a blue sky and puffy white clouds....... Around 9:30, we entered the National Archives, passed through extremely thorough security measures and headed for the elevator. As the door opened, a man came out - all flushed and upset. He and other employees said that a plane had flown into the Pentagon, the White House was on fire, a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center, a hijacked plane was circling Dulles Airport and the President had left the city for a safe place. A few people reacted with disbelief and grins; however, when hearing the constant sirens going past the building, most of us were stunned. I stood in a long line waiting to receive my microfilm reader designation, and just as I was writing my name, a voice from a speaker above the table said, We might have to evacuate the building. I found my machine, unpacked my gear, listened to the constant wail of sirens and tried to concentrate on records of The Revolution. After looking at a small part of one reel, a loud voice came through all of the speakers saying, The National Archives will close in fifteen minutes. Please pack up your belongings and leave the building immediately. I did so and headed down to the entrance where extra security people were on hand to examine our bags and receive our badges. When I asked one guard if we were just to roam the streets, he tried to add a little humor in a dreadful situation and said, Well, you can tell people you were a street walker!...... It was only about 10:20 a.m., when we gathered around the waterless fountain in front of the building - confused and wondering && What were we to do? Where would we go? How would we get home? We heard the Metro was shut down as well as everything else. The street in front of The Archives is six lanes wide, and there was gridlock like you cannot imagine - while all kinds of emergency vehicles were screaming and trying to get through. A few policeman wearing helmets and riding bicycles equipped with sirens - managed to travel between cars. Where were the ambulances going or coming from, we wondered? How were our friends coping at their repositories? As the moments ticked on - things before our eyes got worse. We were concerned about other acts of terror &.. and possibly at the nations records &&. The National Archives && where we stood. A man standing nearby had a radio, and one of our researchers asked him what he heard. She came back and told us that the World Trade Towers had collapsed....... Finally, after a long, long time - they completely closed the street in front of us - by placing police cars at intersections and by using that yellow tape we see on TV.Suddenly, the quiet was eerie! It was worse than the frightening sirens. We heard that I-95 and other roads were closed, and nobody could enter the city. Although we were together, we felt lonely and trapped &.. but realized only too well that our problems were insignificant in comparison to those who were wounded, who lost their lives or their loved ones..... Many hours had passed since a small breakfast at 6:00 a.m., and I wanted to eat my lunch - so I asked the guard at the entrance if I might use the restroom. Surely he would let me go inside for a moment - but no, he could not allow anyone to enter. I decided it was best if I didnt eat or drink anything! ......We began to talk seriously about spending the night at a hotel. But where were we? How close was a hotel? Having been dropped off, we werent familiar with that particular area. One of the ladies walked several blocks and bought five hot dogs and five bottles of water for us. Although I didnt want any, I surely appreciated her gesture. Others who hadnt brought their lunch, were so grateful for her thoughtfulness. Two ladies I never had met were concerned about hotel costs, because they didnt have their credit cards. I told them they were welcome to use mine. In times like this, we must stand together. After all, they were genealogists, too! ...... We watched evacuated workers walking home, but we could not do that. Just then, someone spotted our bus in the next block! We couldnt believe it!! The bus driver obviously asked permission, from various police persons, to proceed and pick up our group. Four of the people who were at the Library of Congress had taken a cab to the DAR Library, but two took another cab - didnt arrive - and we had to leave them. I cannot tell you how our hearts ached for two ladies that many of us did not even know. Dianne was overcome with emotion and could hardly speak. One of the men was a minister, and he said a prayer for our safe exit from Washington and for the safety of those two women. Since we are used to the horrendous traffic congestion in Washington, we felt like we were part of a scene from a horror movie as the bus &.. the only moving vehicle in sight &.. slowly maneuvered the empty streets......  A packed bus, a gracious and competent Dianne and a weary driver - headed for home. When we arrived at the last drop-off point, some of the passengers cheered when they recognized the two lost ladies standing by their car. We all expressed our joy at their safe arrival, and they told us the cab driver - a good Christian man - brought them home. Although it cost them $100, they didnt mind one bit....... I, like all Americans and people around the world, will remember this day forever && but to actually be there in D.C. and witness the might and efficiency of our service personnel &.. makes me so proud of my country. God bless America!......... Helyn|24.95.129.128|14 September 2001|19:54:28

He hurried as he had no idea of what was occurring in the area ...... He did not make it to meeting as the building was being evacuated and there were explosions and havic .... message received from alumnae

- perhaps should be posted in "911" memorial file somewhere...Does Anyone remember this??

It was 1987! At a lecture the other day they were playing an old news video of Lt.Col. Oliver North testifying at the Iran-Contra hearings during the Reagan Administration. There was Ollie in front of God and country getting the third degree, but what he said was stunning! He was being drilled by a senator; "Did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?" Ollie replied, "Yes, I did, Sir." The senator continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience, "Isn't that just a little excessive?" "No, sir," continued Ollie. "No? And why not?" the senator asked. "Because the lives of my family and I were threatened, sir." "Threatened? By whom?" the senator questioned. "By a terrorist, sir" Ollie answered. "Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that much?" "His name is Osama bin Laden, sir" Ollie replied. At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn't pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn't. A couple of people laughed at the attempt. Then the senator continued. Why are you so afraid of this man?" the senator asked. "Because, sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of", Ollie answered. "And what do you recommend we do about him?" asked the senator. "Well, sir, if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin team be formed to eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth." The senator disagreed with this approach, and that was all that was shown of the clip. By the way, that senator was Al Gore Also: Terrorist pilot Mohammad Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called "political prisoners." However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands, The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, "insisted" that all prisoners be released. Thus Mohammad Atta was freed and eventually thanked the US by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center. This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified. It was censored in the US from all later reports.
