The Corning-Painted Post High School Alumni Association wishes to express our sympathies to all those affected by recent attacks, but I am at a loss to come up with the words to fit. I suspect we do have alumni who worked at the WTC; we have about 50 alumni who live in NYC, and another 150 or so who live in close surrounding cities and communities. Several are in the financial businesses. We also have dozens of alumni in the Washington DC area, and those in military and related service positions may very well have business in the Pentagon. There are probably people who worked at those places from every state, and it is likely the families and their home communities will be hearing bad news from coast to coast over the next few weeks. It could be a year or more before the full depth of this tragedy is really understood by most of us. We can only come to realize we are all in this together. Dave
