WHO INITIATED and CREATED
RHSAAS WEBPAGES ......... and WHY?
You may have been one of those that posted a note on the bulletin board wondering about the website. If so, here is its history:
The Corning Painted Post High School Alumni Association has been developing
our own alumni website for about 2 years. As we have been developing it, we
have had occasional contacts from other school alumni from this area that have
contacted us asking if we can help connect them to their own schools - mostly
from the older schools in Corning that closed when East and West opened.
We suggested placing a site on the pennynet for all schools in this region to
have their own alumni pages. It is our hope and intention that eventually,
alumni from each school will take over the design, development and operation
of their own alumni pages.
As we have located various links for each school, we have been in the process
of linking them right to these pages in the hope you and your former
classmates and friends can reconnect as well.
We also hope to eventually include a special Bulletin Board for CLASS REUNION
COMMITTEES from the various schools to share ideas, concerns, etc. to try to
improve the average class reunion for us all.
Currently, the vast majority of the entire regional alumni site and all of its
content has been directly created by alumni from the Corning schools; not as a
permanent design, but only as a startup page for each school. There are a few
links in place to existing pages from alumni from the various schools. You are
invited to join in this venture and create your own class page, or even take
over the management of the your entire school site.
It is intended as a goodwill gesture to all schools in this region. Free of
charge - a "gift" - from the Corning Painted Post High School Alumni
Association. Our alumni slogan is "friends bringing friends together"

Note:
Rhsaas.org separated from Cpphsaa.org in 2007. They are, however, very interactive.
